Vote Forward is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to empower grassroots volunteers to encourage their fellow citizens in underrepresented communities to vote. We build tools to facilitate communications between Americans to help strengthen our democracy.
The project began as an experiment conducted by Scott Forman () in Alabama in 2017. Encouraged by the success of that test, Scott and a small group of friends and fellow Opower alumni built the first version of this platform to empower volunteers to take easy and effective action.
PAEAN: Peoples Alliance for Earth Action Now, is an initiative of Sacred Mountain Sangha. PAEAN is an inclusive initiative focused on Dharma Based Climate Activism while building resilience and a collaborative community. Its core vision is to develop and support mostly local, but also online, climate action groups within a global network working for a just transition from ecological collapse to an equitable, thriving, sustainable world. We invite all who align with our guidelines and values to join us at PAEAN.

Extinction Rebellion is a strictly non-violent movement, whose overall ambition is an international rebellion that helps humanity to turn quickly onto a course that is compatible with life on earth, and to build resilient communities in the face of ecological and societal crisis. We operate under the principles of Holacracy with a decentralized structure.
Founded by Rising Up! in the UK, Extinction Rebellion took its first acts of civil disobedience in November 2018, as 6000 rebels shut down five London bridges. Immediately after this, the movement grew rapidly to become an international uprising which now spans over 200 chapters worldwide.
Become a Climate Activist is a climate justice organization that offers education about climate and ecological breakdown and the known solutions to our planetary emergency. We encourage people to take action in order to maintain a safe and habitable Earth for ourselves, our children, and all life on Earth. We aim to mobilize voters and promote political participation because maintaining our democracy is critical to ensuring that strong climate legislation can be passed.
